The Gold Reef City Theme Park fun-day outing in Johannesburg is one of Gauteng's most iconic reward-day excursions, especially for Grade 7 farewells. It runs on Thursdays and Fridays and is built for Intermediate, Senior and FET learners.
Learners spend the full day on every ride — the UFO, the Golden Loop, the Tower of Terror, the Anaconda and dozens more — with food outlets, shaded picnic areas and entertainment throughout the park. The atmosphere is unbeatable and turns a school outing into a memory learners talk about for years.
Please note there are height restrictions on some rides where learners have to be 1.3 meters and taller.
