This Gautrain and SAA Museum combo school tour packs two of Gauteng's best transport experiences into one full CAPS-aligned Tourism and History day for Intermediate, Senior and FET learners. It is a favourite combined excursion for Johannesburg and Pretoria schools.
The day starts with a Gautrain ride from Hatfield in Pretoria through to Marlboro in Johannesburg — high-speed rail in action — followed by a two-hour guided tour at the SAA Museum at Rand Airport with an ex-crew member. Learners board the iconic SAA 747 and explore the story of South African aviation.
