Rocky Ridge — Road Safety Education
Pedestrian road safety with mascot Danny Cat, then a mini town where learners ride through the streets.
About this tour
The Rocky Ridge Road Safety Education school tour is a Life Skills excursion built specifically for pre-school through Grade 5 learners in Gauteng. It is widely used by Johannesburg and Pretoria primary schools as the practical complement to classroom road-safety lessons.
Learners meet mascot Danny Cat, work through interactive pedestrian safety lessons, and then enter a purpose-built mini town complete with streets, traffic lights, road signs and pedal cars. They ride through the streets practising what they have just learned — turning theory into real, memorable behaviour change.
Wilrien School Tours handles the full educational excursion package: bus transport (if required) from your school, programme entry, professional guiding and teacher support — making it one of the most popular Foundation-phase tours in Gauteng.
