This Sci-Enza and Union Buildings combo school tour pairs two of Pretoria's best learning sites in one day, perfect for Grade 1–12 learners. It blends a CAPS-aligned Science morning with a powerful History and Civics afternoon — a Gauteng favourite for full-day excursions.
At Sci-Enza, on the University of Pretoria campus, learners enjoy a science show with experiments in the Auditorium, followed by a hands-on experience on the exhibition floor — learners can play with the science exhibits and then head up to the Camera Obscura to have a look out over Pretoria. The group then heads to the Union Buildings — the official seat of government — to learn about South Africa's leadership, the Mandela statue, the architecture of Herbert Baker and the views over the capital.
